Exterior Features Of This Prefab Cabin In Petersburg WV

In the beautiful mountain ranges of West Virginia stands this Prefab Cabin in Petersburg WV. And as the sun rises over the opposite ridge, you’ll see why this cabin is going to be a place of relaxation and enjoyment for years to come.

If you enjoy spending time outdoors, then you’ll love that this 30’ x 52’ Frontier Log Cabin features not one, but two decks! The delightful 22 ft long porch at the front door gives an inviting vibe as you walk up to the cabin. But at the end of the day, when it’s time to sit back and relax, you’ll want to find your way to a spacious screened-in deck, with views of the valley, and the refreshing evening air!

One of the more unique features of this cabin is the 8’ x 12’ octagon bump-out beside the back deck which creates an interesting exterior feature that compliments the rest of the cabin!

On the practical side, this Frontier Log home is built to the highest standards, and finished off with authentic-looking log siding, and a high-quality steel roof that will last for years!

Now, let’s step inside and see the many ways these cabins wow. From solid oak flooring in the main living area to the bump-out in the dining room, this cabin is made for luxury living!

Step inside the foyer, and you’ll be greeted by an open-concept living area with oak flooring throughout and tongue & groove pine on the walls and ceilings.

Just to the right, you’ll find the living room, with a large window looking out the front. This space is intentionally left open to be finished off and customized to meet your personal preferences.

Connected to the living room is the dining room and the highlight of this room is definitely the breakfast nook which is made even better by the fact that it’s in the Octagon bump-out, and surrounded by five beautiful double-pane windows.

To fully enjoy a dining room, you’ll need a kitchen. That’s where this cabin shines. The kitchen is built with shaker-style cabinets, made from solid pine and finished off with classy black hardware. The beautiful island, with a bar area on one side, is a great addition to an already stunning kitchen. Plus, all the countertops, including the island, are Solid Surfaces in the Hazelnut color.

As you move back the hall, to the left is a spacious mudroom that leads out to the screened-in porch. To the right is the main bathroom which includes a full bathtub and even a small linen closet. Just beside the bathroom are the steps leading down to the basement area.

At the end of the hall are the two bedrooms. The guest room has a nice set of windows that overlooks the front yard, and a handy closet. Now step across the hall and into the Master suite! Not only does the master bedroom have multiple windows for a bright airy feel, but also includes a spacious walk-in closet. And just off the bedroom is the private master bath. With a fully tiled, walk-in shower, double bowl sink, and linen closet, this place is perfect.

So when you’re ready to build your dream vacation cabin, a good place to start is with a Frontier Cabin from Zook Cabins.

What will your cabin story Be?

"…a moment or two later another branch broke, and they began to realize that they had a little company. His father turned around and turned on the flashlight, and there 30′ from their family campfire stood an unexpected visitor…A BEAR…the perfect example of the memories that can be made and shared at the prefab log home."
