Yes. In some areas of California, you must have a permit for your tiny home, while other regions either have legislation in place that “pre-approves” their use or prevents them completely. Yes and No. At Zook Cabins, we offer siding options for several of our tiny homes as well as some interior upgrades that are specific to the Nook Studio and Nook Family. We also offer the option of a propane or electric water heater and cooktop. Yes! All of our tiny homes are built to RVIA ASNI 119.5. This means they are designed to withstand a 70-pound snow load. So no matter if you want your tiny house in the heavy winters of Lake Tahoe or the warmth of sunny L.A. we have you covered.

Absolutely! The majority of our tiny homes are built with closed-cell spray foam insulation, though some use batt insulation. This allows you to keep your tiny home at just the right level of comfort, no matter where you are located.

*Log tiny homes are built with pine logs. However, the roof and floor are spray foam-insulated.

Yes. If you are interested in ordering 10 or more tiny homes from Zook Cabins, we would love to make a customized design for your needs. In fact, we have done custom projects for Providence Hill and Spring Mountain and are currently working with many others.

Absolutely. We deliver our tiny homes nationwide to your desired location. If you are unsure whether a tiny home will fit in your desired location, we can arrange a site visit to guide you on what may need to be changed to make delivery possible. If changes need to be made to your site, we would be happy to give you guidance on what can be done to accommodate the delivery process.
