Modern Tiny Homes With a Loft

The Cascade

The Cascade is our modern take on home living in a compact, tiny space. This park model tiny home stands out with two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a versatile loft area. The loft provides the perfect spot for extra storage, a cozy play area, or a sleeping space for children or anyone young at heart. It is easily accessible by a staircase, making it a functional and fun addition to the home. With thoughtful design and clever use of space, the Cascade proves that living small can still mean living well.

The Nook Family

The Nook Family offers a unique option in our lofted tiny home line. What sets it apart is the loft, which is typically designed to provide an additional sleeping area with a queen-sized bed platform. If preferred, this space can easily be used as a lofted storage area, giving you flexibility to adapt it to your needs. Thoughtful design and practical functionality make the Nook Family a versatile choice for anyone looking to maximize space without sacrificing comfort.

Log Cabin Tiny Homes With a Loft

The Aspen Park Model Tiny Home Built By Zook Cabins

The Aspen

The Aspen is our take on a park-model log cabin, perfect for long-term living or seasonal stays. What makes this unit’s loft space especially unique is that it sits over the bathroom, allowing for full cathedral ceilings in both the bedroom and living room. This design creates an open, expansive feel that makes the cabin feel much larger than its footprint. Accessible by a staircase, the loft can comfortably accommodate two people for sleeping or serve as a practical solution for extra storage. The Aspen also features a large bedroom that can fit a king-sized bed, a full bathroom, and a spacious kitchen and living area, making it easy to host guests and enjoy the warmth and charm of a log cabin in a compact, carefully designed space.

The Pinecrest

The Pinecrest park model tiny home gives you the perfect log cabin getaway with a lofted area that can be used for extra sleeping space or for storing hunting gear in the off-season. This unit features two full-sized bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen, providing all the comforts you need for family trips. With thoughtful design and a cozy layout, the Pinecrest makes it easy to enjoy cabin life, and you may find yourself wondering why you didn’t get a family cabin sooner.

Yes, lofts in all Zook Cabins lofted park model tiny homes are safe. Each loft is equipped with a gate or banister to prevent falls while sleeping. Additionally, every Zook Cabin is built to meet the ANSI 119.5 park model tiny home standard, ensuring quality and safety throughout.

The size of the loft in our park model tiny homes can vary slightly depending on the model you choose. If you want exact dimensions or a deeper look at how a specific layout will work for your needs, our sales team can walk you through every detail. In most cases, the loft provides a comfortable spot for kids to sleep, giving your family a little extra breathing room without sacrificing style or function.

Yes, adults can absolutely sleep in the loft of our park model tiny homes. If you want a space that works for regular nightly use, the Nook Family with its lofted queen bed gives you the most comfortable headroom. If you only need the loft for occasional guests, the standard lofted areas can handle most adults with ease.

Most people find that a lofted space does not make their tiny home feel cramped. Many even see it as part of the charm that comes with tiny living. That said, the areas directly under a loft will naturally have a lower ceiling. If that is a concern for you and you prefer full-height bedrooms in all closed-door sleeping spaces, the Cascade and Pinecrest may not be the right fit.

If you want tall, open ceilings throughout the main living spaces, the Aspen will serve you well, although the ceiling in the bathroom is a bit shorter in these models. The Nook Family includes a shorter ceiling in the lofted sleeping area, but since this space is meant only for sleeping, it does not take away from the overall feeling of the home.

Every tiny home we build includes easy access to the loft. The Pinecrest, Aspen, and Cascade all feature staircase access, which gives you a solid and comfortable way to move between levels. In the Nook Family, the lofted sleeping area is reached with a built-in ladder, which helps keep the floor plan open while still giving you a simple path to the loft.

With Zook Cabins, none of our lofted tiny homes are difficult to heat or cool. Every model is insulated with high-quality insulation, providing tight temperature control year-round. You can keep the home cool during the summer or warm and cozy through the winter without any trouble.

No, the lofted areas in Zook Cabins’ tiny homes are not fully private. They are designed to be tucked away and include a gated area to prevent roll-offs while sleeping. You can create a semi-private space by adding curtains around the loft.

This works exceptionally well if the loft is used for storage, keeping items out of sight while maintaining an open feel. If the loft is used for sleeping, the curtains provide a bit more privacy without closing off the space entirely.

If you want to stay in a lofted tiny home that Zook Cabins has built, you can check out our Rentals page. This will allow you to see which ones are closest to you. Or turn it into a family vacation and see where you and your family can make memories together.
